Felicia stood in the back corner of the adult toy store with a cosmic purple vibrator in her hand. She felt her face heat with embarrassment as she studied the package. With her eyes downcast, she placed her package on the counter and waited for the cashier. Ugh, where are they? I just want to get this and get out of here before someone sees me.

“Good afternoon, did you find everything you were looking for?”

Felicia nodded her head while handing over her cash before she was even told the total.

“Anxious to get home to test this baby out?” the clerk said with a chuckle.

“Yeah, something like that,” she said feeling her face flush again. She should have made Terri buy this for her instead of coming here herself. It wasn’t like she looked at anything else in the store.

“Here’s your change and receipt. Have a fantastic time.”

“Thank you.”

Felicia hightailed it out of the store with her black plastic bag and did the walk of shame to her car. She flung it on the back seat and covered it with a blanket she kept in there for emergencies.

Never again…next time I will just order online…that is, if there even is a next time.

Fastening her seatbelt, Felicia started her sleek blue Mini Cooper. Ever since watching Mark Wahlberg in the Italian Job, she was hooked on the cute little cars. She just wished she had their technology and could change the red lights to green. That would be great.

As the embarrassment of being in the adult store began to fade, Felicia let her mind wander. Would the cosmic purple toy take care of her needs as advertised? It had been a long time since she had decent sex; she was afraid it would be over before it started. But she wouldn’t have to wait for it to re-join the show like some dude when they shot their wad too fast.

Laughing out loud at her joke, she pulled into her driveway, taking a quick look around to make sure no nosey neighbors were out. With the coast clear, she quickly grabbed the black plastic bag and sprinted up the porch steps. Once inside, with the door locked behind her, she sighed with relief. What am I, some kind of prude? Obviously lots of people frequent those stores or they wouldn’t exist, now would they?

Giggling, Felicia went in search of her scissors. Carefully opening the package so she wouldn’t cut herself on the sharp plastic, she removed the weighty vibrator. Installing the batteries, she clicked the switch and nearly dropped it when it sprang to life.
